Armed with two turntables and a mixer, DJ Crespo has quickly become one of the top open-format DJs in the business.

Criss-crossing the globe while playing over 150 shows a year, Crespo’s unique style of open format has become a staple of top clubs, parties, and festivals the world over. Daniel Crespo, 27, has always been familiar with the word mix. Born to a Filipino father and Puerto Rican mother, he was raised on the North Side of Chicago listening to Otis Redding, the Bee Gees, Donna Summer, salsa, and merengue. After moving to Miami at an early age, Crespo became exposed to the sounds of Miami Bass, Reggage, Hip Hop, and electronic dance, which has cultivated the eclectic style displayed in his sets today.

Crespo began DJing parties at his alma mater Florida State University, quickly sharing the stage with names like Diplo, Steve Aoki, and Wiz Khalifa. After graduation, Crespo began to tour nightclubs all over the country, and is now a regular at E11EVEN (Miami), Marquee (Las Vegas), and Up&Down (NYC), and can be found at major festivals such as Electric Daisy Carnival and TomorrowWorld.

Crespo’s mantra, “GOOD VIBRATIONS”, embodies everything he does, from his mix series to his fashion to his outlook on life. Crespo’s goal is simple and pure, aiming to send his audience on a journey through the music that has shaped him.
